Philips Healthcare Imaging Award

Description

Philips Healthcare and IFSER will present awards for new research conducted in sonography, including, but not limited to, the use of 2D, 3D, 4D, or emerging technologies.Award winners will receive $1,000 and a personalized plaque to commemorate their award achievement.

Eligibility

  • Sonographers – Must hold current sonography certification from ARDMS or CCI and must be a current member of a sonography professional organization
  • Students – Must be attending a Commission on Accreditation of Allied Health Education Programs (CAAHEP) accredited sonography program
  • Completion of an application does not guarantee the receipt of an award.

Submission Criteria

  1. Submissions must include the following elements relating to sonography research:
    1. innovation,
    2. originality,
    3. research results,
    4. feasibility, and
    5. impact on current imaging modalities
  2. Sonographic images and data collection must be generated using Philips ultrasound equipment
  3. Submissions must be new, unpublished material
