Medison 3D Ultrasound Award

Description

The Medison 3D Ultrasound Award was developed to recognize the continued growth, use and importance of three-dimensional ultrasound. This award also honors the important role of the diagnostic medical sonographer in the ultrasound community. The award recipient will receive $2,500 and a personalized plaque to commemorate their award achievement.

Eligibility

  • Sonographers – Must hold current sonography certification from ARDMS or CCI and must be a current member of a sonography professional organization
  • Students – Must be attending a Commission on Accreditation of Allied Health Education Programs (CAAHEP) accredited sonography program
  • Completion of an application does not guarantee the receipt of an award.

Submission Criteria

  1. Submissions must demonstrate the use 3D sonography
  2. Sonographic images and data collection must be generated using Medison ultrasound equipment
  3. Acceptable submissions include, but are not limited as
    1. new techniques
    2. other innovations in the use of 3D sonography
    3. notable case studies and abstracts
  4. Submissions must be new and unpublished material
