
Lantheus Contrast Imaging Award
Description
Lantheus Medical Imaging presents an award recognizing sonographers who are helping pioneer the use of contrast in ultrasound imaging. This award will also aid in fostering advances in the use of ultrasound contrast agents for both cardiovascular and general ultrasound application. The recipient will receive $1,000 and a personalized plaque to commemorate their award achievement.
Eligibility
- Sonographers – Must hold current sonography certification from ARDMS or CCI and must be a current member of a sonography professional organization
- Students – Must be attending a Commission on Accreditation of Allied Health Education Programs (CAAHEP) accredited sonography program
- Completion of an application does not guarantee the receipt of an award.
Submission Criteria
- Submissions must demonstrate the use of an ultrasound contrast agent—either commercially available or currently in Phase II or Phase III clinical trials.
- Acceptable submissions include, but are not limited to new techniques and other innovation in the use of ultrasound contrast agents, notable case studies and abstracts.
