Awards Program
Several research awards for the benefit of the sonography community are available through the IFSER Awards Program. Some of these awards are sponsored by prominent companies in the community and were developed with the intent to provide additional resources to sonographers involved in sonography research. Each award will have a unique description and submission criteria; however there are award guidelines that will be common for all awards. They are:
Author Guidelines
Authors must follow the formatting guidelines of the International Committee of Medical Journal Editors (ICMJE) when preparing their manuscripts.Formatting requirements may be found on the ICMJE website at www.icmje.org.
Agreement
The following statement, with your signature, must be included at the end of your manuscript. Failure to include this statement will result in the disqualification of your award entry.

Transfer of Copyright
All submissions become the property of IFSER and will not be returned without a written request.Each manuscript may be submitted to a scientific journal, specific to diagnostic medical sonography, to be considered for publication.Because the submitted manuscript may be considered for publication authors may be asked to provide a completed Copyright Transfer Agreement.
Deadline
All submissions must be received by IFSER by August 1.Awards will be considered by a panel of judges with expertise in diagnostic medical sonography, and awarded on October 31 of each year.If you have any questions, please contact the IFSER office at 914 164th St. SE #274, Mill Creek, WA 98012, or email info@ifser.org.
